Might sound a dumb question but why wouldn't they just divert it down rundle street etc until they find out how to fix it

There are other problems, including power issues.
Bit embarrasing for Adelaide Metro and the DIT gurus!

Quite a few track buses every day have issues with their tunnel senders. They cannot enter the tunnel and divert via Botanic Rd or Rundle Rd. They can still use the obahn track, just not the tunnel. The sender is fixed later. They don’t have their guide wheels removed and taken off track duties.

Maybe these hybrid buses just don't have the power to get up to speed as you need to on the Obahn track look at 1901 and how slow that is to take off and get upto speed guessing this is the same as 1791 thus TT taking it off Obahn duties

It actually seemed quite normal in comparison to the 230's at least. Certainly not as bad as 1901.

If it's the same as 1792, might be due to loss of power/acceleration when changing gears.
