Are you basing this on knowledge from Custom Denning or just based on looks?
Just saying the Endeavour is based on the Phoenix as they both have bonded window lines that are straight top and bottom doesn't make the argument to me.
For example; CB80 and Endeavour have the same windscreen and front quarter windows.
If you compare a CB80 and an Endeavour that both have gasket mounted (rather than bonded) windows you will see the side glass, pillars etc are all in the same place. Same as the joins between the side panels on the drivers' side.
Plus as I have mentioned, most of the interior panels, dashboards etc are interchangeable between a CB80 and an Endeavour.
I have to agree with you on that Bovways

You guys do have some good points, but I do have to stick with my guns.

I reckon its a mix of the 2 bodies.

I still say it's a facelifted CB80.

From ABC magazine launch review:
"The Endeavour has retained the same stainless steel frame work, windscreens and roof structure as its predecessor and many of the changes have been cosmetic after taking on board customer feedback while keeping all features that they knew worked well"

I love how this topic has literally turned into Bovways and myself arguing weather the Endeavour is based off a CB80 or a mix of a CB80 and Pheonix low floor. I forget what this thread was originally about!!

Er, the bus scene in Adelaide gets more and more dull every month as 1990s and even 2000s buses are prematurely withdrawn.

So what 2000 buses have been withdrawn-if you are going to make these comments, how about substantiating them with facts.

Hardly no longer suitable when it’s basically the same as every other L94/Volgren. It wasn’t listed in the contracts (neither was 3269, 3310, or 3311), and therefore was transferred
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).
Last person on 164, 867, 868

So how come if 3310 and 3311 were not in the contract how come these are still in service according to fleet lists?

These 2 buses are primarily used on the School Days only Route 852L & the Route 852 & School Days only Route 852 to & from Eastern Fleurieu schools at Strathalbyn. If these 2 vehicles were to be withdrawn and 2 metro coloured buses replaced them, them there would be a shortage of buses in the peak period.

Since the trial of all door boarding on artics on the O-Bahn and more people opting to use the Metrocard I think its time we allowed all door boarding on rigid buses on other routes too. Is it possible to expand the back door to a double door configuration by removing the seat just behind the curbside wheelchair space?
Next station is Victoria Square. Change here for all trains.

Not only does it need double-leaf doors but a low floor too. Stairs at a door are as much an impediment to efficiency (not to mention accessibility) as single leaf doors. The Combos are an anachronism, they need to be replaced by low floor artics with double-leaf doors. However, it's worth waiting for an electric artic to become available on the local market, which should be within the next few years at the most. Hardly worth buying new diesels at this stage because bus electrification will be widespread in Australia by the 2030s.

Incidentally, it does look like Bustech/Precision is building artics for Adelaide judging from a recent production video, but if it's based on the XDi it will be high floor through all the doors except the front. I think it's very likely that Custom Denning will develop an artic version of the electric Element before too long. This would be fully low floor.
