LinkSA New Ticketing System Trial
LinkSA New Ticketing System Trial
It's a pity they can't integrate with MetroCards to enable LinkSA customers to more easily transfer to AdMet services - https://www.linksa.com.au/service-updates/
Re: LinkSA New Ticketing System Trial
On the current two hour timed travel it would be difficult. Only way would be to go to a tap on/tap off system which would be deeply unpopular.

Re: LinkSA New Ticketing System Trial
The trial has been deemed a success and will be rolled out across all depots by the looks of it.

Looks like a great initiative - although it doesn't seem to say how one buys a card?Lt. Commander Data wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 9:16 am The trial has been deemed a success and will be rolled out across all depots by the looks of it.

I understand that the 800-803 services are subsidised by the State Government, whereas the other LinkSA services are funded fully by the fares collected (except for concession fares where the State Government pays LinkSA the 50% difference between concession and adult fares), hence the fares are a little cheaper than the fares in the Barossa and Murray Bridge - so that may be why LinkSA can't run this new ticketing system on those services?
