So, x weeks into the Coronavirus thing and Southlink drivers have still not been given any form of PPE. We don't need it apparently. We also still have front door boarding. See the articles below to see what drivers elsewhere are up against.

Driver protection
Re: Driver protection
That is a real worry-what does management have to say?
Whilst out today I noticed a lot of Torrens Transit drivers waring face masks.

My friend has pulled the plug on working on a stronger version of the Perspex shield because he thinks it will not help or fix the situation.Big Engine Mechanic wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 6:36 pm I got a friend working on a better stronger version of the Perspex shield.

Re: Driver protection
Question to drivers - is your depot or company still looking at PPE for drivers? It's not just to protect the drivers against the passengers, it is also to protect them from the driver before them.
While Covid 19 is not a real issue here in Adelaide, it only takes one or two careless people and it could be a huge problem. Are depots prepared for a potential wave of infections?

Outer South - no. Can't even get soap organised in the Railway Terrace toilets.bigrobbo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 9:49 pm Question to drivers - is your depot or company still looking at PPE for drivers?
