3 new Scania Bustech's sitting at Scania Wingfield.
Notice at Port Depot that NAN 18.280 1515 is still out of action in the same spot its been sitting in for several months.
Notice on windscreen as well as side engine panel removed? Presumably a major engine problem?

The whole engine removed from 1515 several weeks ago.

Watching a Youtube clip of train 1DA2 taken on the 29th of last month ex Darwin Bus 117 (Volvo B10BLE?) was part of the train load, I assume another bus for TT.

Two "new" ex-Darwin Volvos (I think 111 and 117) sitting at Mile End this week. So nscaler69 your assumption is correct.

111 is easy to spot as it has a CR228L Front end, after it was involved in a nasty accident some time ago. The others are all CR222L bodies.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Does anyone know the identity of a dark coloured bus I've noticed recently at Mile End? It's not on Fleetlists.

I believe it is a Torrens Transit promotional bus-not used in service.

I saw them both throughout today on driver training duties.

I assume this means Morphettville has taken over 2 Mile End shifts?

As well as a number of Elizabeth buses at Custom Coaches, there is a new Artic-CB80 complete with a dome light, being readied for the O-Bahn.
It is a replacement for the burnt out Artic 1161.

Which Southlink buses are currently sitting there?

It almost makes me laugh thinking of an artic with the jackpot next stop tone, but looks like it will be a reality.

I'm assuming that this would be numbered 1183. Just a question for those in the know. Seeing as Southlink renumbered their rail sub buses to R800-R802 to 2858-2860, would Torrens consider renumbering R803-R808 to 1183-1188? Just curious seeing as the rigids all got renumbered 1830 etc.

I still think 1140 is the Artic with the best Next Stop tone :D

More than likely as its an O-Bahn bus it would probably be 1851.

MAN SL202 1636 has joined the other retirees at Morphettville. No idea why it was withdrawn so prematurely whilst 1632 is still getting around.

Bus 782 currently doing a W90 service has a reverse colour desto, black lettering on a yellow background. Very hard to read.

Apparently there have been many problems, and so far they have yet to be resolved.
The now opposition have not said a word since they were first manufactured(does that not surprise you?).
The bus previously at Precision Buses is now back at Mile End.

For some reason, 1636 has returned to service as it is about to do a 281 to Paradise .

Why would it be parked amongst the withdrawn ones and then suddenly get reinstated?

It certainly was not parked amongst the retired MAN SL202's at the front of Morphettville Depot!
Probably in Newton Workshops.

It was definitely in the vicinity where the retired CNGs currently languish about a week ago. Could have been parked there on a meal break for all I know...

It was rescued from Newton around the end of last of this year, along with many other CNG SLs, which leaves Mile End and Morphettville as the only metro depots which still have high floors.

Torrens Transit Scania Artics 1361 and 1362 have been transferred from Mile End Depot to Morphettville Depot.
There will be a significant movement of buses between depots in mid-March when Wingfield depot closes. Lots of 1200s and a few artics to be relocated.
