Printed timetables
Printed timetables
Rumour today is that AdMet will no longer produce printed timetables and instead will expect everyone to look the info up online. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
Re: Printed timetables
Wouldn't surprise me,as they(DPTI) have had their budget cut,so anyway to save moey. Not everyone has a computer /printer,so this won't help a lot of people. It would be a backward step.Skexis wrote:Rumour today is that AdMet will no longer produce printed timetables and instead will expect everyone to look the info up online. We used to have a 2 timetable display Racks out the front of the Elizabeth shopping center both have been removed,
Have they done this at all other major shopping centers?

Re: Printed timetables
Noticed an ad in the window of the Currie St info centre yesterday, with a picture of printed timetables with a big red line through it. I think the ad (didn’t have time to read it while in traffic) was promoting a timetable kiosk (an I store computer for customers to use I guess, going by the picture).
Re: Printed timetables
A member of this board has posted on another forum that this is incorrect.
He has spoken to DPTI Marketing Department, and they have advised that what is happening in the future is that the print runs will be smaller to avoid costly wastage.

Re: Printed timetables
Have they done the public a favour by replacing the boards with those rather uninformative green pieces of paper?flaneur wrote:went to Colonnades today and all printed timetables have been replaced by an electronic display board
