Saw their Rosa (1314 ?) with its big yellow M. Looked so big in the context of the smaller Rosa windscreen.

Interesting that LCB with only 2 depots have chosen to do the Depot code lettering on their buses, yet Southlink with 5,and Torrens Transit with 4 have not yet seen the need to do this!

Think its to ensure track buses make it back to St. Agnes?

Noticed today that there are now two 4 car 2000/2100 sets getting around. Didn't take note of the combinations, but there are definitely two (compared to the usual one). One is arranged Power - Trailer - Trailer - Power and the other is Power - Trailer - Power - Trailer.

Sorry to be picky, but doesn't Southlink have 6 depots (ie Elizabeth, Pooraka, Lonsdale, Seaford, Aldgate & Mt Barker).

Also Jumbo trailer 2109 (normally runs with orange 2002-2108) has been given the Adelaide Metro livery (yellow front). To be honest I didn't expect anymore to be repainted.

And one reason that there are two 4-car Jumbos running is probably due to extra passengers needing a stop between Adelaide and Woodlands Park that would have been covered by a Tonsley train.
Southlink's two competitors are: 'Scania-City Buses' and 'MAN Transit'. :(

Go into Street View, and look back towards South Rd. It is a depot of sorts, and it is in Mile End :)

Witsend-it is not a depot, rather a layover area for Southlink buses during weekday off peaks-ie 900am to 4pm.Southlink therefore has 6 depots.

Whilst Mile End is a Torrens depot, SouthLink is allowed to use one or two tracks there for meal breaks... In other news, 762 is now sporting an AOA for Hyundai, very similar to the one featured on 445.

Actually, more like there is less need for the jumbos to be out and about because of less trains running, so they are able to increase the number of cars because they don't require two 2000/2100 units

Don't those big M's and S's remind you of when there was the letters on the drivers side windows to indicate which depot they came from- and that was during STA Days- why doesn't the DPTI bring that back that would make it more easier for bus spotters and enthusiasts to at least know which depot a particular bus originates from especially those spotters not on line.

Err, coz DPTI doesn't care about catering for bus spotters and enthusiasts?! Surely you don't ACTUALLY think they would do that just for your benefit do you??

Bus spotters and enthusiasts should be able to tell by the run number (provided the driver is actually showing the biscuit or the folder). Torrens often shifts buses between depots, especially around school holiday breaks, and they'd be scraping off and reapplying stickers so often.

Have seen some new coaches being delivered that have lights similar to CB 80 buses the most recent sighting of such coaches was today and was travelling on the Sturt Road adjacent to Marion Shoppingtown and it had no company logo, and last week saw 2 coaches on the Marion that also had lights similar to the CB 80 buses and they belonged to Goolwa Coachlines heading in southerly direction.

Saw Light Citys 350 this afternoon on a 254X on Torrens Rd. Fleet numbers showing as 350 on the front and back, 2350 on the sides and the a/c pod. How much extra effort to scratch the 2 off the side?
