MAN 10.155's ?

just wondering, but are the MAN 10.155's pretty rare or something in adelaide?, because I havent really heard very much or found much info on these buses at all, all I know is that their similiar to MAN 11.190 midi's but smaller (pics would be very much appreciated ).

Not rare in Adelaide, there were 4 of them plus a couple of others before these 4.

No they are not similar, they have differant size engines and 2 had a Volgren body which no 11.190 has.

There were actualy 4 of them (2x Volgren & 2x AP) there is 1 Volgren & 1 AP built unit for sale in NSW.

well you cant exactly tell what peoples emotions are when their typing, I mean if their angry or happy with you etc, the only way you can tell is when they put a smiley in their message, I think that when articulated eddie writes a reply/topic we cant really tell exactly what he's thinking and the first thought that comes into our mind is a negative one but, again, we dont know how he means it, so assume he's being nice unless he otherwise says. nicely put, regards b58 boy

The 2 body types the 10.155s have, the 1st is a PMCA '160' body and the 2nd has a Volgren 'CR221L' Body.

thats the one I was talking about, the PMCA 160 bodied ones, thay have tha same unique square shape in the frontal area as 11.190's, NL202s, SG280's and SL202's.
THATS why I was saying that they looked similiar to 11.190's.

just got my Sept-Oct issue of Australian Bus Panorama, there is a pic showing ex TA/TT 1310 with its new owners in Cowra (NSW) where it is used on the town service.

It joins a couple of ex Adelaide Volvo B58's used on school bus duties.

Just because someone may not have a silly little smiley face before or after their comment, or even during it, it does not mean that they are in a certain mood. They might just choose not to put one in. So thats that. I only have a double smiley when i post, as its my own little thing. So please, lets not be silly and think that someone might be mad, or extremely happy if they do not have a smiley face in their post reply. There was no need to nitpick about this in the first place. And 1312 is MO.6264 with Baldwin, Tocumwal.

City of Burnside have one of these as one of their community buses, a 5th one built, sans desto and with different A/C unit. Same PMC bodywork as the TSA units.

Guess who was the lucky lucky boy who got to Pre-delivery service it (and 1310/1311)

Oh, and they are in fact VERY similar to the 11.190, they shared the main chassis components (752 series) just shorter, and as stated up above, a smaller engine (4 cyl) with Allison transmissions? from memory.

Blah, blah, blah aside from the rant, did you happen to realise that those comments were posted in April... Yes thats right, April, you know, the month which occurred 7 months ago?! Going by the fact that this thread was dead since then before Will resurrected it (*shakes fist @ Will* curse you! lol.) I think all parties involved got over it long, long ago. Perhaps you should pay attention to that fact before posting that load of rot months after the event and avoid looking like a tool hey?
