That'll be on the 423 route to Stirling. Near Sacred Heart College. Been a while since I've been on that road, I think it's St Heliar? Sorrento.

I, too, instantly recognised the location - with the spire of the house perhaps cleverly cropped out? But you'll kick yourself, Mr renaultartic, coz you're one street off: it's Hocking Pde.

Would have been magic to hear Daimler Freelines climb that hill!

Fellows....I apologise - I cocked this up, I didn't see the later post after renualtartics. Herbert - you are technically correct - St Helier's Dve (sic?) is behind the point from where the shot was taken - I couldn't remember the name either.
But I believe you'll kick yourself, as you're wrong - no cropping at all here - just desto deadening.
Seriously - you're both right.....technically and otherwise. Over to you (boxing ring???)

Herb'..I've got the TTs from that era/route (Daimlers)...can you post up a snap elsewhere?

Mr I_C, not sure if I've got a shot of a Daimler at that location, but will have a hunt. My penchant for Daimlers, however, was from watching a Freeline on Walcott St every morning as I waited for my bus ... the Freeline being bound for Sacred Heart Sorrento.

Keeping the ball rolling for a bit, where's 1103? Mr Actually needs to wait this one out as he was with me at the time.

It's a bit hard to hide 32 buses, so the CHOGM depot was very easily discoverable. However, it's Mr route171 who's guessed correctly. 1103 took Baysie & Malaga drivers to Shenton Park Depot for our CHOGM induction. A nice coincidence was that the bus up on the hoist was 1303 & earlier that morning Mr Actually & I had possed 1103 next to 2303.
