Is it Hamilton Junction (photo taken from the overbridge that Google Earth labels as Girling St), with the train heading towards Port Waratah?

I have to say yes to that. If I remember the junction you mentioned is either Islington or Hanbury Junction

I'm going to say it's an older photo, taken sometime in the afternoon, and I'm going to say Hexham. (Yes, I know the building on the station has been replaced with just a shelter.)

Not Tarro, not Hexham. The photo was taken at 10:27 AM (my photo info shows PM I'll have to check my camera's settings)

Re: Where Is It - New South Wales
Thanks, guys. We're getting a bit closer, but it's not there, either.
I just looked it up on Google Earth: Victoria Street is on a slightly curved section of track.
My photo is on a straight section of track, with a yard, part of which is seen in front of 9014, near a major junction and with a significant (now derelict) signal box (the roof of which can be seen over the top of 9014) opposite the station. Does this help?
