Improved visibility helps everyone including children, older people, people with a disability or impairment, people with children, and people carrying goods.

Good job of concealing the doors from view there. Aren't these buses all-door loading? There are supposed to be guidelines somewhere (even in DDA regs?) about highlighting visibility of doorways and thresholds, typically in a yellow or some sort of contrasting outline. People with visual constraints would find this a bit of a challenge.
All stops on this route have tactile boarding points. The bus stops at the same position when possible. Therefore the doors being blended in with the livery is not an issue for the visually impaired.

Yes it's also all door boarding.

No worry, the driver will open the door for all passengers if they're standing at the bus stop. For passengers with visual problems, they can find the front door at least.

This.

Anyway, it's a problem across Australia with the proliferation of AOA. Some agencies and operators think of their customers, others (e.g. Translink with their electric bus doozy wrap) obviously have no idea. True that people see doors when they're open but no good on push button doors like on trains and trams or with bus drivers who won't open doors unless requested (common in NSW). It should all be basic knowledge for any transit professional. The irony is that we criticise commercial advertising, but many of the worst wraps are applied by operators themselves to publicise their own operation! Doh.

Noted C1921 on a 170 tonight so may also have gone to S.

Whole of journey accessibility, also known as the complete trip, involves more than just tactile ground surface indicators at a bus stop.

The principles for accessibility are safe, obvious, and step free (SOS). A wrap over doors is not obvious to all users.

G16X2 (didn’t quite catch the full fleet number) running “driver under instruction” northbound on Lutwyche Rd through Windsor around 12:20 today.

Big delays in the west as well due to a crash closing the Centenary Mwy northbound around indro. The first notification I got from TransLink about it was around 2 hours after the first tweet on the Brisbane Traffic twitter account. Is it that hard to get somewhat up to date information out to passengers on the network? No mention of delays through Sherwood and Graceville either. Routes 105, 106 and 599 are all running 20+ mins late into Indooroopilly.

Sorry, not an observation but something to look out for...

Suspect there may be some movement of the fleet between depots this weekend as Uni services resume on Monday. Ex-SWT/Hornibrook buses may make an appearance.

With the fleet list not up to date, what 2072-2099 buses are at Eagle Farm? A few weeks back I could of sworn I seen S2079 at Hamilton on driver training. TIA
