Re: New Bus service for Flagstone area.
This is a monumental outcome, even though initially just a 5 day a week service. Hopefully it will progress to a 7 day a week service when demand grows in the future.superbossgc wrote:interesting that translink is planning to put new service from flagstone area to browns plain Grand plaza, route info will be out on october or nov this year.

From 18 November 2019, new bus route 535 will connect the greater Flagstone new development area to Greenbank Shopping Centre, Greenbank RSL and Grand Plaza Shopping Centre at Browns Plains.
New route 535 will:
operate Monday to Friday, from approximately 5.30am until 7.30pm
travel via Flagstone State Community College and Flagstone State School
connect to express services P142 and P546 to Brisbane City at Greenbank RSL
connect to our wider network including services to Logan, Griffith University, Garden City or Sunnybank at Browns Plains station.
This new service is a joint initiative between Economic Development Queensland and TransLink, funded by development charges for the greater Flagstone development area. It's the first step for Flagstone, with more services to be introduced in the future as demand increases.
Re: New Bus service for Flagstone area.
From 18 Sep 2021, route 535 will introduce weekend services (but not on Sundays). Link will be added when available.

Ah yes, because we live in the 60s and no one leaves the house on a Sunday... Hopefully it comes with increased weekday services, so it runs every hour at the bare minimum. 2 hourly service (and even hourly services for the most part) do no one favours.
Where did you hear this info out of curiosity?

From Peet, the developer in Flagstone as part of their town plan. Sunday service will also be introduced later when population comes up.
