Tassielink Transit #44 - Scania K310/Express

Post by Tas Bus Nut »

Tassielink Transit have acquired two brand new Scania K310UB / Express low-floor buses. Featuring 49 semi-coach seats, USB ports,
seat-belts, air-conditioning wheel-chair accessible, under-floor storage, they certainly have set the standard for low-floor non-urban
route buses. I was given a special viewing of #44 before it entered service. #45 (identical) had already entered service & unavailable.

The Australian definition of low floor is different to other parts of the world, what we'd call a low floor is just a low entry, not necessarily a full low floor.

Is it me or do i see TfNSW-style placards for the priority seat bays? I also noticed this on a Volvo B8RLE with the same body type in Perth.
