King Island

Post by Fleet Lists »

I spent a few days on King Island last week.

The King Island fleet list which covers all operators on the island only lists five buses.
I managed to get photos of four buses, none of which are listed - two of them four wheel drives to tour the southern end of the island. With the size of the group of people I was with both of them were needed to cater for the whole group. One concern I have is that as far as I can see from the Tasmanian rego check website, the rego of the two four wheel drives had been cancelled earlier this year. Am I right there?

I can't answer the registration question, however the two 4WD vehicles in the 2nd and 3rd pics were built by OKA: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OKA_4wd

it does appear both the Okas registration had expired before your tour.
The Isuzu is a FSS550 and was built for Connections Adventures(APT) in 2006 and whose livery it wears.
