Random CR228Ls (aka boring January afternoons)

Post by jarf »

I've always found January to be a boring month, so I've been filling in time by shooting random buses. Here's a selection of CR228Ls. Comments are more than welcome.

I disagree with your first statement. Those of us with lives are out enjoying the sunshine, the beach, the great outdoors. Those of us who work often like to take January off work so that we can get out and enjoy the many varied festivals, carnivals and various activities that Summer allows for. :?

There are five very important words in your comments above...."Those of us who work!" Clearly, there's a lot of people on here that really should be working and not bludging off the system. Well said V981.

Truthfully, I don't particularly enjoy any of those things as I've never really been an outdoorsy person. January is also a quiet time for me when it comes to work, although my first shift for 2012 is coming up on Sunday.

No need to discuss people's private lives on here. I know Jarf well enough to know that he does actually have a job, just like me he only works casually/as-required.

Anyway nice photos Jarf.

I'm more impressed theres a photo of a TBL bus without damage on it.
My daily cruiser is a two-door turbo merc.

Well, if you look towards the rear, there is a dent thing at the bottom.

The only thing I don't like about the Ventura CR228L's is that the livery looks incomplete because of the two black rubber strips on either end of the bus. It kinda looks.. like a bad photoshop job.

Great photos though, Jarf.

Thanks,

They arent rubber strips. The "black lines" you are seeing are actually hinges, so that those panels around the rear of the bus on either side, the front wheel arches and the fuse box at the front below the drivers window can be accessed by lifting the panels up. 8)

They are rubber hinges, though.
