Great photos of the fleet at that period Scott- we wondered, a little later, if we had made an error of judgement in selling the 815D's and replacing them with low floor 8.9mtr BCI's, although we had capacity problems with the 815D's.

5625 that photo is alreay in the photo gallery http://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/dis ... p?pid=1609

while 5626 is represented by http://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/dis ... p?pid=1732 Hayden Ramsdale
and http://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/dis ... p?pid=3134 Adam Peters
and later in Transport for NSW livery http://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/dis ... p?pid=3279 Ben O

I have not been able to identify the Worlmaster but there is a batman photo of an AEC Regal which seems to date back to the same era MO 3789 not in the best condition http://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/dis ... ?pid=12242

It is/was a Worldmaster and on the inside header up the front was very clearly 1589 and on the back seems to be just 589 although it was almost peeled off, when the photo was taken.
The body plate shows as Martin Nixon. I have had a look through old (printed) photos + digital stuff and I cannot help any further!

http://tessa.wisp.fastmail.com.au/MTTST ... wBuses.pdf shows the AEC Regal above bit no mention of a Worldmaster going from Adelaide to Murtons and no mention of Martin Nixon bodies so I think it is ex Perth see https://perthbus.info/report.php?vid=MTT589 which later in its life was renumbered from 589 to 1589

It is wonderful to see that bus in a visually pristine condition with the MTT.

WE had several Worldmasters and Regal Vi's ex MTT Perth and one each of those types from MTT Adelaide via Trevor Tate. The were all top performers!

Today I added the first of the photos in this thread to the photo gallery. And in the process I have added a keyword "brokenhill" to this and all photos of buses either before or after Murtons and will also add it to the other photos when they are added to the photo gallery over the next week or so . https://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/th ... brokenhill

By coincidence today someone added a number of CDC Broken Hill photos taken earlier this year viewtopic.php?f=42&t=92007 I will try to get permission to also add those in album called Broken Hill operators which should cover past and present operators.

Having owned the company for 30 years or more with another bloke ( a Pom, like me, but with no interest in buses), I really appreciate all the stuff all of you are doing - many thanks,

Tim Williams.

There is now a Broken Hill album in the Gallery https://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/th ... ?album=425
All photos above are in there as well as the 7 from Noel's thread mentioned above.

I also found 4 photos on the internet which had copyright Tim Williams. I have also taken the liberty to include those.

Thanks for the galley, we had a lot fun with that operation, although it was hard work at times!!

If you find any more photos of mine, please do use them, with my name on.

https://www.busaustralia.com/gallery/th ... ?album=425 The gallery has had three more Tim Williams photos added - one from the Murtons's era and two from the Buslink era which particularly filled a gap.

The Broken Hill photos are being deleted from the photo gallery to save duplication with FlickR but can still be found at
