Re: Private Bus Observations 2021
The headboard from former STA bus m/o 1123 is for sale at the Sydney Bus Museum, I'm guessing we take it that the rest of the bus is toast?
(Also the reason I posted it here and not in the STA thread is the bus was last at Transit Systems)

Murray's appear to be running the hospital worker covid vaccine shuttles. I've been wondering why there's been a few Murray's vehicles in Kingswood lately
Hillsbus had Five vehicles on Mamre road today with Shuttle 5 as the destination including 3 tri axle Scanias and 2 Volgren Optimus B7rles including m/o 6129

Interesting to see Rover apparently running a High-floor on the 160 to the UNI of Newcastle this morning, Iveco Delta SB50. Can't exactly recall the last time they've ran a high-floor on a public service route.

Re: Private Bus Observations 2021
Might be an oversight but I was on one of the 733x Optimuses the other day operated by Hunter Valley Buses and there was no tape closing off the front seats and you could tap on via the front opal reader. AFAIK there have been no COVID restrictions changed for Public Transport so more than likely an Oversight or a bus that was used on a school run before then starting a service run and they just didn't bother to close off the front seats.

Re: Private Bus Observations 2021
If you're talking about the one via John Renshaw Drive as opposed to Hunter Expressway and doesn't continue to Newie Interchange, then that one has always been a high floor service to cater for all the school kids.ScaniaGrenda wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 8:28 am Interesting to see Rover apparently running a High-floor on the 160 to the UNI of Newcastle this morning, Iveco Delta SB50. Is it normal for a Forest double-decker to be on route 197? I saw one yesterday on Pacific Hwy at Gordon and don't remember seeing one in the area before - and I'm guessing it must be recent as it doesn't appear on the approved routes below as at November 2020;

Re: Private Bus Observations 2021
Maybe someone on the inside has more Information but saw Port Stephens Coaches 7829 MO (VIN ending in 8311) Scania L94UB CR224L operating the Nuspace shuttle today. Fleet-Lists say it has been transferred to Cooma Coaches but when I saw the bus today it's still accredited for Port Stephens Coaches Anna bay.
So what exactly is the go with this particular bus, if it's been transferred to Cooma, why doesn't it's accreditation state that?

Re: Private Bus Observations 2021
I don't think this list is complete, it does not list any of the roads in region 1 and 4 (NW T-way, roads around Seven Hills, Castle Hill etc.), where there's double decker presence on 611, 610X, 607X for years.ed24 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 7:47 pm Is it normal for a Forest double-decker to be on route 197? Anyone know what was the cause of the fire. Shame to see one of the new Heatherbrae coaches go up like that...

Something overheated. How about waiting until it is investigated properly.
