In spite of being Wikipedia, I don't think there's much here that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, so it's a useful history of Metrobus, including a reference to the original super-sized artic concept (footnote 2):

Wikipedia should always be taken with a pinch of salt, far too many people on this board have made incorrect statements assuming it to be correct.

... that's why you should always check the cited source material. Same goes for anything we read, really.

Who has time to do that when you're looking for quick answers? Besides, you could end up down a rabbit hole looking for the original source(s).

Like all these quick references, you need to have another reliable source or sources as a reference point to back it up before you quote it.
