This thread is dedicated to those things that don't anger you, or make you happy. Maybe they just made you think, made you laugh, or made you sad.
I'm concerned with the narrowing of human emotion, that's why this thread.

First up:
me and 5 mates sitting around the TV watching question time in Parliament.
was interesting that 6 teenagers would sit down, shut up, and engage in politics of their own free will.

I remember reading somewhere that Parliament Question Time usually attracts an audience of pre schoolers watching it while they are waiting for Play School to start.

You're meant to mention something that's happened, and then at least a sentence on what you feel about this, and why.

Australia's population, the government really as no plan.

That and reducing carbon levels in the air, I concluded 4 things:
1. The government again have no idea
2. We could bury the problem
3. We could change how we look at the problem, plan stuff for the future's technology not today's
4. Make things more efficient

I'm pondering why my ADSL modem has disconnected itself twice today, thankfully not while surfing. Bad phone line, since it crackles a bit when using the phone????

Try unplugging everything except the phone off from line. If There is still crackle lodge a fault with your phone provider.
if not come back to us.

I know my neighbors had a massive crackle which indicated a line fault , that caused frequent dropouts and low sync speed.

It's just connected via a splitter (sorry, not a tech wizard when it comes to computers...)

Splitter should be the same as a filter, I think.

Dick Smith sell filters for $20... that would be the easiest way to test if that is the cause, unless you have a spare one or a friend's that you can snaffle to test.

Splitter\filter jiggers can cause problems, we had a similar issue on our phone line, a new splitter\filter jigger solved the problem.
