Stevie is a nice woman's name. She's certainly intense to look at and in her performances in the band. A face you don't forget.
I had no idea they dated!

Stevie Nicks met Lindsey Buckingham at 19,
when she left home she waited tables and cleaned peoples homes for about 5 years,
she showed up to an audition for Fleetwood Mac wearing a waitresses outfit, she didn't pass the audition but their guitar player quit so when Mick Fleetwood heard Lindsey who was Stevies boyfriend at the time playing the guitar he tried to hire him as the new guitarist but Lindsey made a deal stating
‘Look if you want me you have to take my girlfriend Stevie Nicks too we are a duo'
so around 1973-1974 they joined Fleetwood Mac, after they joined they recorded 'Rumors' which was released in 1977 However the entire band broke up afterwards and Lindsey and Stevie also broke up, they spent a year working in the studio barely speaking to each other but it resulted in an incredible album,
'Rhiannon' and 'Landslide' was based on Lindseys and Stevies failing relationship and after their breakup Lindsey wrote 'Go Your Own Way' about Stevie but I don't think he really went his own way until 2018 then he had a heart attack in 2019

I'm glad he didn't succumb to his heart attack.
Sorry to say, but his latest wife is not a patch on Stevie when it comes to striking looks that imprint in your mind.
Not bad looking but kind of generic.
His latest partner, however looks good as middle age is upon her in that later photo.
Lindsay is an extraordinary artist who was undoubtedly instrumental (ha!) in FM's (ahhh FM!) success.
Another American talent who I find doesn't get as much recognition as he deserves is comedic actor Harry Shearer off Spinal Tap fame who also does the deep baritone voices of characters like Principal Skinner of The Simpson's. He is a bona fide genius as well.

@Swift
Yes all that is true I agree.
When Stevie sings about Sara she's singing about herself and Lindsey talking to her.

Really lives up to my expectations, the K270IB chassis really sounds like a beefed up K230(IB/UB) when it gets up to speed. The interior of the HVB SB400's is different to the likes of Transdevs K94IB's on the same body (obviously). The stop buttons are the usual plastic buttons with yellow shell but are mounted on the roof panels instead of a pole on the seats. The seating is the bench seating(?) that is seen on the lower floor EVO II builds. The panels aren't of the white plastic but another material I'm not sure of the name of, same roof paneling is used on the High-floor SC222's.

I very rarely got to ride them back in High-School as they were rarely scheduled on my school route and of course the day I took off from school is the day my school bus would change from an SC222 to an SB400 (my old school bus has since been changed to a full time O405NH lowfloor). I liked the SB400's for the uniqueness in the fleet having been the only Custom Built buses for HVB after 2009 (as far as I know).

But what I hate is these SB400's are very hard to catch during train replacement (which is how I ended up on one in the first place). Weekend replacement always sees use of whatever SC222's & lowfloors they can throw out and the SB400's always sit back at the bus yard disappointingly. Not even the Enduras are pulled out, well only very very very rarely.

I don't get the hate with the K230UB, Asian cities get by with them and they do have a very characteristic sound about them. I did overhear a Busways driver say once they were having issues with them and the then new MANs were faring better.
I think they ride well also, compared to the Bustech MANs. That could be the choice of body more than the chassis.

In reaction to the above post, I've never found K230UBs to be anything outstanding. At 85kph (or matching RPM), many are as boring as bat***t. But their gearboxes are audible, unlike with the near silent buses from more recent years.

The only ones that have stood out a little to me (in Adelaide) are 1274 (diesel intake issues I think), 1287, 1434, and 1449. All of these have had a mechanical fault which makes them more audible. Their articulated relatives (CB60 bodied K320UAs) have no character whatsoever.

1274 was at the top. But it still doesn't outrate any SL202.

I've been on a few B8RLE's (only Bustech bodied as that's all that's around here sigh) and I have to say I prefer the B7RLE's sounds over the B8RLE's.

Mercedes OH1830 VS O405NH, I know their a generation apart and completely different but if you asked me which sound I like, I'd go with the O405's any day. The OH1830L does have that "oomph" as it takes off but honestly it still doesn't beat the O405 / NH's any day.

Can't say much for Scania as there's very few Scania makes around here, only K94UB's and K230UB's from one bus company that I probably don't even have to name.

MAN, again their limited around here but I really like the sounds their 12.220's produced, especially when they struggled to climb up hills :P .

Correctly working out the year a film on tv was made from looking at the cars and people's hairstyles, clothing and even the movie's score -1976. It was The Gumball Rally a film about an illegal car race across the USA.
A young Raul Julia and Gary Busey were the only ones I recognised as well as a young woman actress I saw in one of the Police Academy movies from the 1980s.

A great plane that they should restart production with just two larger engines if possible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRipxPCpyw8
Note the tail at 0.44 because it does not have reverse thrust.

Port's good run finally crawling to an end last night thanks to dare I say it, Richmond. They made this year a little less condemnable.

Now I don't give a stuff who wins the flag, as the Crows are clearly not playing in the grand final.
