What makes you happy today?

Post by Happy Bus User »

This is an opposite of the "What gives you the shits" thread.

I must say, the courier mail have outdone themselves with today's politician mugshot of Anna Bligh.

Priceless!

What makes me happy is to listen to a courageous, principled person like Rob Oakeshott (one of the federal Independents about to decide who the Government is.)

I just hope they don't get to him and turn him into a ratbag.

What makes me happy today.... Knowing that all of my family and most of my friends (who I can get in touch with) are ok after the massive earthquake that hit Christchurch early this morning.

I agree, but probably for different reasons, like

a) less TV coverage of said team
b) no more games at Suncorp Stadium
c) generally we don't have to hear about them anymore

In other news, My GPA generally keeps me happy :D

Yes, I hope things can be sorted out quickly - heard the reports on the news this morning. Sounds like it's going to take a while, but at least not hearing reports yet of loss of life.

Thoughts and best wishes to our Kiwi comrades across the Tasman..

Using my Biometric passport with RFID technology (What myki uses) to clear immigration in less than 5 minutes.
I just wish we could all get along like we used to in Middle School, I wish that I could bake a cake made of rainbows and smiles and we'd all eat it and be happy.

She's probably in a safer position as regards the leadership than most, if not all, of her predecessors. Given the Independents' decision to back Labor is in part based on the view that Labor is the most likely party to be able to provide a stable government, any move against her would probably result in a no-confidence motion against the government, and the government doesn't have the numbers to win anything unless it has the support of the Independents............

Arrr let's see, how many leaders have they had again, & one of them being the ELECTED prime minister?! Then we have 1975. But ditto for Liberals, but I don't think they've kicked out a Liberal PM yet.

Back on ye topic.
This does. How on earth can you miss the signs, & the blue bus stop.
