My interests do not sufficiently extend to that part of the world and era to want to buy this book, but I would like to congratulate Guy Arab for his efforts in researching and publishing what would no doubt be an exhaustive history of those systems.

I hope it does well.

I spent a few days following the roads shown in the maps, and trying to align 'now' photos to match the ones in the book.
Lop Buri had recognisable aspects, but Bangkok was very tricky, with virtually no success. I didn't even try for the interurban to the port.
In 1977. I did photograph rails in one street I the old city.

Good Evening from Singapore!!

Could you please hold a copy for me, until I return home at the end of next week - the both sounds most interesting.

You could give me all the details through the private message facility.

Thanks,

Tim Williams.
