1991 Denning Landseer chassis sold to NZ

The year was 1991 and this was the only Denning Landseer ever sold as a chassis.I am just about to the leave the Geebung factory to drive it to Brisbane wharf to load onto the boat. With only a light tare weight a 3rd gear start off was a breeze and then a skip to 5th. The chassis was then bodied by then a JRA sister company in NZ called Coachworks NZ at Palmerston Nth.The completed unit was sold to Northliner Express at Keri Keri Bay of Islands and operated between Keri and Auckland on a daily basis until being sold to Perry Clarke of Clarkes Coachlines.

Was never really a fan of the highscreen Denning.

RT 5835 is Denning body 1319 ex South West Coach Lines Bunbury TC 576.

This chassis-only bus is Denning build #1401 with an unknown VIN number - it was reported as 1003 but this clashes with the Mee's bus.
