Hey guys, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, from myself over here in the UK.
Don't suppose this Atlantean is still around?
Does anyone else have pics of it, those on the link (back a year ago) seem to be no longer there.
Thanks in anticipation

Wow - thanks for that.
Is there any chance you could give a map link or street directions to where it is?
The missus was saying the other day that she'd like to go on holiday somewhere hot, and I would like to try to persuade her about Sydney.... might never happen, but I'd love to do try!
Cheers again
James

Guys, wypte wrote:Of the ones exported to Australia, I have seen some in the livery of Westbus with Bosnjaks on the destination, their registration plates show the following:
MO724
MO881
MO481
MO725
MO645 (the last two are not that clear).
My friend has come back to me with details of the UK registrations of the buses exported to Australia:
UNW416H, UNW419H, ANW450J, ANW451J, ANW462J, ANW464J, DUA477K and DUA479K (Leeds City Transport and West Yorkshire PTE fleetnumbers were the three-digit numbers).
Going on detail differences on the pictures I was sent, we think the following:
MO725 was eitherr 477 or 479
MO881 was 416 or 419
MO481, MO645 and probably MO724 were some of 450, 451, 462 and 464 (order unknown).
Does anyone know more? If the chassis numbers would be useful, I can recommend this site - http://www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk - put the registration number in, and it should bring up chassis and body details. All of the above are PDR2/1, though later ones (like our preserved example) were AN68/2R.
We believe three to have survived in Australia:
462 - burnt out (probably now scrapped)
unknown - camper, with the body repanelled flat between the decks
unknown - the gold one
Can anyone advise the ID of either of the above, or tell us of any more survivors? Alternatively, is there any chance that someone could take a picture of front and nearside of the gold one, as it will probably have identifying features.... does it have a M/O registration plate on it still, and is it one of the ones I have listed?
Thanks again, members of this group, for all your help.
Regards
James

Gentlemen of Sydney,
Just wondered whether this gold bus (or any others) had been scrapped now, or was still around?
Regards

Re: Decker in St Peters
I know I'm digging up an old thread here, but a couple of years ago, I took pictures of UNW416H sitting in a yard in Torquay, VIC. It might still be there, I may drive by and look tomorrow. It was in pretty rough shape being used as part of a large junk shop. The stairs had been removed so only the lower deck could be seen. It's old, green West Yorkshire livery was wearing through from under the WestBus paint. Chassis number was 7000905.
