I agree with the comments HSR is a joke especially in a nation run by lawyers.

I have read that a Japanese guide way is the same cost as HSR and that figures especially as one third of HSR goes on maintenance

I heard today on the ABC that it is far better to use electricity directly rather than making green hydrogen for half the 1m B doubles Sydney/Melbourne every year.
