Looking at the timetables, it seems that their "SYD-MEL express" actually involves catching the 0500 SYD-CBR service, then changing for the 0900 CBR-MEL service?

Similarly on the return service, a layover in CBR for a connection.

Reported elsewhere today that Murrays have closed down their Sydney depot as of COB tonight.

Also the SYD-CBR and Queensland Express services will also be suspended effective tomorrow. The CBR-MEL service disappeared off the timetables a couple of weeks ago. The CBR to Wollongong service is still listed.

Vast majority of vehicles are deregistered in the Sydney depot.

The Syd-Cbr and Qld services resumed from 19 June.

Noticed a number of unregistered Murrays coaches parked up at the John Holland depot adjacent to the North-West Transitway in Seven Hills, Sydney. Can even be seen on Google maps. https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-33.770 ... 384!8i8192

This is/was an operating sub-depot for Murrays.

I went down to Welder Rd in Seven Hills today to finally have a look at Murrays sub depot.
Their website still lists this as their Western Sydney depot and Sales office across the road.
Google still shows vehicles parked in the yard.
However appears to have been long gone, with the yard full of concrete railway sleepers and John Holland trucks/cars.
Office space was up for lease and no Murrays signage anywhere to be seen.
Think for yourself, while it's still legal !

Murrays has been running express services from Brisbane to Toowoomba and Chinchilla for a few years now.

They have recently added new services from Toowoomba to Cunnamulla and Lightning Ridge.

These services are operated under contract to the QLD Government, replacing Bus Queensland who lost all long distance regional contracts.
