Re: Mercedes O305 Questions
O305s I have driven you have to lift the accelerator pedal up towards you to shut the engine down - I assumed it was lifting something by cable in the air intake of the engine to starve it and thus cause a shutdown.

I am glad that they go to the trouble of running the service as the connection could very easily have been overlooked.

Yes that warning comes on when either the seatbelt isn't on and the bus maxi is off and the bus is in drive - some also set the alarm off if the driver's door isn't closed and the maxi is off.

Re: Volvo B10M in NSW
In the time I was there all the B10M's were auto, the only semi-automatic Volvo's were the B58's with 4 and 5 speed Wilsons. Hi Geoff, I am pretty sure that the Parker's have at least one B10M with the Wilson gearbox from Busways - I assumed too that it was a B58 because it has the same body and th...

Re: Volvo B10M in NSW
What was the last B10M?
Citybus Direct/Harris Park ones?
Hillbus B10MA probably the very last, but they are articulated
Busways had some very early B10Ms with semi-auto gear transmissions and Custom Coaches bodies (which I honestly thought would have been older than any Euro body).
