Re: Light Rail Implementation 2013 _MLR Extension

The reduction in quality of service in the face of a rise in patronage is strange to say the least. In recent years tram 2106 has been in storage, with various parts cannabalised. It is now considered officially withdrawn. That most likely has a bearing on the frequency at the present time. Obvious...

Re: Introducing OPAL Card

And there a good reason why for no bus top ups..... I wonder what the long term plan for Sydney is on this point, if they have one. If someone walks up to a bus without having an Opal with money on it, are they going to be sold a cash fare, PayWave, and/or sold an Opal? London is going to the PayWa...

Re: sydneybuses region guides

I think only outbound services are shown on the city map and considering its only 2 services they probably Didn't want to bother with to L24.

Glad they haven't changed these guides to TfNSW style bus maps.

Re: red bus service website

Still done by TransitGraphics. I am sure they would like to hear any criticism so that they can improve such things before they implement them for other operators. The Stop timetables appear to be in HOP format. And I think they have printed them out and put them at the actual stops as they do not ...

Re: *Opal Card INFRASTRUCTURE roll-out progress ONLY*

I imagine the above will commence after "Extension 2“ completed and will be completed by end of June. The map itself still shows the end of quarter 1 which I believe they are still aiming for. The quoted sentence is I think just the poster's personal opinion. I asked a station person at Gosfor...

Readers installed at platform 1 at Gosford and concourse. The one on P1 is for people who enter station via the turnstile, however I think they should have put 2 in due to number of people that enter the station via that way. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/08/y7y7ajun.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/...

Re: State govt's timetables continue to attract criticism

I am assuming your refer to the 16.59 trains via the North Shore which in theory should be well clear of Hornsby by the time the 17.15 gets there. It would appear that the delay is caused by the 16.59 running late - it does not appear to a planned thing. However it is something which should be look...

The fence was moved toward the main fence. http://img.t...
