Re: Bus specs please?
Looking at your photos, id say its 3.2 high (give or take 100mm) and a base weight on those super Vikings (its not a tiger like ol' mate told you) she would be a good 7 tonne minimum with a full deck of seats ready for passenger service, so now its converted id hazard a guess its sitting at 10 tonne...

I think they used to run under the accreditation - Deans coaches south from memory and 120 would have been Menai depot

Re: Roadside assistance for broken down buses
The most simple and cost effective form of roadside assistance - Being on good terms with other operators in the areas you plan to visit. Odds on you'll still lose profit on your job paying for another bus to come in and finish your trip but at the end of the day, having a bus turn up to keep the pu...

Try I Know Parts (google them)
You may have a BG100 bus but you will need to know the motor code/engine number. I know BG300 and CM277 had what is known as an EK200 engine, but im not sure on a BG100, I think it could have been a DK code? but don't quote me

Vacuum bleed with one of the air bleeders should be fine, just get it sucking away and keep toping it up till fresh stuff comes out. I've seen guys jam something against the clutch fork to take the load off the slave while bleeding them too.

Which body is the MAN?
Personally I would get the MCA but id say the MAN would have better lock to lock steering and would use less fuel. probably a bit more comfortable at speed on the freeway too

Re: Double decker conversion in Brisbane
Firstly, could you supply a photo and some details (chassis number or previous rego ect) so the fleet lists can be amended (its a disposal list of buses over the years) Maybe you could join or contact QOCS (Queensland Omnibus and Coach Society) the members all have an interest in buses and some may ...

Re: Hino CM277 Commuter - Refurbishment
pop the window cap off to expose the laminate, odds on it will be glued to the frame and you should have a foam in there between the frame. CM277 are a good reliable bus, but alas with all things Jap once they hit 10 years they stopped producing spare parts. You can still get most things via supplie...

Re: manually bake brakes off mercedes bus 0305
There should be a hole in the back of the booster with a 19mm nut, winding that should overcome the spring - BUT - make sure you chock the wheels!!
Additionally if you have front brake air but not park brake then odds on your four way protection valve is faulty
