Cruiseships and international tourism is halted for now so companies like Kanga are doing what they can to stay active.

Re: City Connector reprieve

In my opinion the ideal route would be ....

99C via Adelaide Station, North Terrace, Kintore Avenue, Victoria Drive, Frome Road, Frome Street, Carrington Street, King William Street, Victoria Square, Grote Street, Morphett Street, North Terrace, Adelaide Station.

99A in reverse.

Another NL202 has joined the rail sub fleet - bus 254 is now R254. To add to the list 256 is now R256 as well and if not already mentioned 223 is R223 If I recall prior to being withdrawn and put on rail subs the Mercedes Benz O305 & O305G were checked over beforehand. Maybe the NL202 buses wil...

Re: SA budget to upgrade railway stations

I doubt Liberal Party will get another term. I do wonder what the opposition will propose to do about the Outer Harbor and Grange Line whether they will just electrify it or convert it to light rail. I wasn't a fan of the light rail proposal but its grown on me now as there is opportunities to exten...

Since the trial of all door boarding on artics on the O-Bahn and more people opting to use the Metrocard I think its time we allowed all door boarding on rigid buses on other routes too. Is it possible to expand the back door to a double door configuration by removing the seat just behind the curbsi...

Re: Gawler Rail Line shutdown

Because the Gawler Bus subs require so many buses,Torrrens Transit didnt have sufficient spare buses,so they chose to give Kanga some runs. It was also common for SouthLink to use contractors for weekday closures on the Gawler & Noarlunga/Seaford lines. Good way for charter companies to get som...

Why is it suss? Perhaps Kanga sees a longer term opportunity to either participate in or tender in their own right for rail replacements. After all its a free market..... The buses could also be used for cruise ship transfers to the city when that activity eventually resumes. I know a few years ago...
