940 now gets input from both Welshpool and Redcliffe after being transferred to Kalamunda package.

1697 on 940 like it used to be. Except that both the bus and route have moved out of their original contract areas.

Re: WA Transport General Discussion & Questions

According to PB Info, 101-107 are listed as withdrawn. That explains the absence of CNG Midis from Morley contract runs. That said, all Morley CNG Midis have been replaced by diesels and only CNGs from 1885 onwards are still active in the area. However, PB Info still lists 1866-84 as active even tho...

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region

3366 may be in the southeast. 3338 apparently has been at SR for some time already. 2890-2 may already be at Jandakot. 2423 has been listed twice. 1429-34 are at SR while 1694-9 replaced them at Welshpool.

Has 1913 gone into storage already?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2023

I think I spotted 2375 on 940. If that's the case it means RCDEP has not taken responsibility for 940 from MVDEP. Routes 280, 290, 291 and 940 are now under Path - Kalamunda Contract since the start of the Armadale Line Shutdown on Monday; as is Transdev Fremantle for Routes 523, 527, 529 and 537. ...

Is this just a change off or is Baysie ditching gas as well?

I also saw 1699 on 34 when I was in Perth on Saturday and I captured 1697 on 38. I spotted 1592 on 32 on Friday on Mill Point Road. Both are not noteworthy observations as they operate in their respective contract areas/routes. For the second observation, it means 1592 is still active while most Ma...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2023

I think I mentioned before that Claisebrook B7s are reaching their 10-year tenure very soon. My guess is they could be redeployed to SR when the Armadale Line shutdown commences or RO to replace the CNG midis when those retire. A side note, have all Path Transit CNG midis been pulled off the road y...

Re: Kelsian Sells London Bus Business

Ten years after Transit Systems entered the London bus market purchasing a 400 bus business from FirstGroup, Kelsian has exited the UK market with the sale of its minority shareholding in RATP Dev Transit London to RATP Group for a token £1. RATP / Kelsian Joint Venture Ceases (Buses Magazine) - pa...

You're making me so homesick.

The recently-retired CDGE Volvo B9TLs were repainted into the new livery but not the Scania KUBs. That being said, some of the €4 KUBs have also retired.

If you were lucky you might have spotted the Volvo BZL demo 4007, operated by TTS from Bulim depot.

It looks as if 114-116 will retire without having served a paid route.

In other news, 104 is apparently in storage.

The defunding of the Freo CAT was already in the making following the border closure during the height of Covid-19.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2023

Looks like it's time to refresh the fleet listings again. Apparently 1432 is back with Swan Transit but I've yet to see it (along with 1434). 1434 and 1433 back with swan, can confirm both as I've seen them today while doing my 291 to Redcliffe I daresay 1433 got exchanged for 1697 which I just spo...
