Re: Old Dodge trucks at Woy Woy.
The Dodge vehicles were also built in the same size as the International in this photo, Dodge also continued this shape a lot longer than IH too, they didn't sell too well in the end however. For the record, the bigger units that could be used as light duty prime movers had a 6V53 GM in them. Intern...

Probably right, there aren't very many doubles though as far as I know unless they've brought more in.Daniel wrote:I swear I saw a new Fuso Arnotts truck as recently as a few weeks ago. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks...

Re: Arnott's Biscuits trucks: where did they all go?
Over the years I've come to take the bodies off a couple of the rigids so that as a second hand chassis they could get a tautliner but the answer for your question is this......The delivery work (both local and interstate) was all done by company owned trucks originally, the local ones were in Arnot...

Re: Mills Tui to close its bus manufacturing
As mentioned above, Mills Tui were still building bus/coaches. I was checking out their web page today and noticed they have removed the Bus/coach page, dose mean that they now longer build their excellent range of coaches and have fallen victims of the el cheapo Chinese rubbish that has invaded ou...

Re: Bustech Scania's for STA
I've been reading a lot of this thread and the question that I came to have is this......Why is the government "selling out" in your opinion people? Let's face it, if the issue of costing and build quality led to an order being placed with a company in another state rather than a local one then quit...

Re: Merc Denning Front Air Bags- Kneel Function
The answer to the first question is quite simply this.... If there is a buzzer that sounds (as you stated) when you switch into the raise position then yes it did have that capability originally fitted to the vehicle. A lot of older vehicles start to fail with this function because the height valve ...

Sitting today at Iveco Arndell Park are 2 new and unregistered Iveco CB80 dual door buses in TNSW livery. No identification as to their destination, but I'll make a call and say Entrance Red. Re: Merc Denning Emergency Brake
The 0303s had a switch that allowed the exhaust brake to work with the initial movement of the brake pedal (just the freeplay travel) or you could switch it to manual use and use the floor switch if memory serves me right, it's been a while but I've driven a couple of ex A.P. coaches from that era b...

Unless you have a pressure bleeder that will connect to the clutch fluid reservoir the only other way that I have found through experience is to reverse bleed it just like I do on so many European vehicles. Open the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder and pump fluid continually back up to the reservo...
