Renault diffs are OEM. There's only one speed. The question was examined extensively before the first PR100.2s went regional.

Re: Two 1940/50s buses to be identified

Armadale Omnibus Co - operated by J J Thorpe. 3 axle one is a TS7T, new in 1936. I guessed at the other one being a TS3, but open to correction. Thorpe sold out to Metro on 1 September 1938. By November 1950 Metro had on-sold them to Inter Suburban Bus Service - who converted the TS7T to 2-axle.

Re: Perth Memories

Wonderful! Some absolutely classic shots there. Thanks so much for sharing them. Love the shot of 656 outside Council House. 656 was the first 119 Tiger Cubs, differing in length & layout to the prototype 655. Your view of the original Redcliffe Depot is magic. The paddock behind became the replace...

Re: 1966 Leyland tiger cub

Would love to see some photos of your Cub. With the chassis no some history could probably be provided too.
The chassis no should be stamped on a brass plate on the off-side chassis rail above the engine. Probably starts with `L`, then 5 digits.

619 was a lovely bus to drive. Another of several that were snapped up cheap at auction with the buyer hoping to cash-in on someone unwary.

Re: Hi all from WA

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, with nearly 100 years of orange school buses, there are so many operators & vehicles that haven't been recorded. Until seeing your photo I didn't know of this one's existence, so sorry I can't add any history.
