Re: NSW Railway Observations 2020

Can anyone offer any further insights into the changes between Glenfield to Campbelltown on the T8? Has this got something to do with the fact that passengers changing from T8 to T2 have already boarded and train departed whilst those Macarthur bound passengers remaining on board are left sitting tw...

https://transportnsw.info/news/2020/improved-trip-planning-on-opal-travel-app Obviously one of the not mentioned new features is the removal of fare estimates! Re: NSW Railway Observations 2020

What does the sound of a whistle mean? Does it mean the doors are about to close or they are closing? If it's the former, why would a guard blow it when the doors have just opened wide enough for people to even start boarding? (they have not set one foot into the carriage interior)

These are just objective facts which have been synthesised with the broader context. Incase I am accused of being biased or prejudiced, the fact that the government which commenced this PPP project betrayed their base: the unions, domestic railway manufacturing industry and its potential workers and...

I lived in Campbelltown since the mid 2000s and never saw 4 trains per hour services via the Green coloured line until 3 years ago. In fact, there may still be some capacity issues until the signalling is upgraded in the Airport tunnel. Stops on the Revesby terminators during EVENING weekend service...

Strange, this was a planned rail replacement bus service, yet they didn't draw out lines to ensure people queued up 1.5m apart? Don't bus marshalls and management know the basis of WHS? It's everyone's responsibility to ensure a healthy and safe workplace, and what do they do? Just let everyone scra...

Actually they have updated this today (with no advance warning/written statement prior to today) While we are running the 50% discount for off-peak fares, some fares are below $2. If the second trip costs less than the $2 transfer discount, the discount will be capped at the second trip price. In th...
