Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

TPG. Their service on NBN has gradually declined over the months and maybe even years so I upgraded to 100/20 to improve my speeds but the speeds stayed the same. I enquired why it remained the same and the chat-bot told me to reset my router but gave no further instructions and closed the chat thr...

Re: The Motoring Thread- for the motoring enthusiasts here

The Mercedes C63 AMG is dead. The next C63 will have a hybrid 4 cylinder and AWD. Mercedes may as well kill off the C63 name for the C25 AMG or C20/C200 AMG. Don't call it a C63 if it doesn't have a 6.3L V8. The current batch/generation of C63s aren't C63s because they have a 4L V8. It should've be...

Re: Ventura Group News 2019

The depot sharing of routes is interesting, having witnessed it myself. Yesterday I was waiting for a bus to Springvale, Dandenong B7RLE Optimus 1065 operated the 824 to Parkmore (I live close to Parkmore so waiting for the same bus didn't take long) however, the return trip was operated by a Moora...

Speaking of BMW reliability, BMWs probably make a great first car, especially the 3 series E90.

Re: Ventura Group News 2018

Almost all Moorabbin routes along with about two-thirds of Dandenong routes are now shared between both depots, I can say that route 824 is shared with Dandenong since 1054 was seen on the route on Kingsclere Avenue just before 3pm and 709, with Moorabbin's 574 seen on Bloomfield Rd, just over half...

Re: Transdev Melbourne News 2018

If "property back" means depots randomly getting Designlines or CB30s to replace the older (but infinitely better) buses, let Transdev keep them! I'd imagine the Gemilangs, Designlines, CB30s would be either sold, buggered off to France along with Transdev or allocated to rail fleet and the C...

I'm thinking of buying an Oukitel K10000. It's a phone with a gigantic 10,000mAh battery, I'll use it as a banker for my main phone. Online stores suggest it's quite cheap for $208 on GearBest.

I would never buy a Chinese phone, but with a battery that huge, it's best used as a banker.

Re: Ventura Group News 2018

I have noticed on the fleetlists that Moorabbin have lost quite a few buses to Dandenong (514, 517, 529, 581, 604) and one to Croydon (546). I'm guessing these will be replaced by K310s that are pending delivery? Has Volvo stopped manufacturing the B7 or have Ventura stopped ordering in favor of Sc...

Re: Victorian Rail & Tram Observations 2018

Not spotted by me but the very first HCMT set has been transferred from Newport to the HCMT-only Pakenham East depot under the cover of darkness, hauled by 4 SSR locomotives and their grain wagons which were used for braking.

Only one video has been found, which also isn't mine.

Re: Freight trains in Gippsland

There were rumors on Railpage that the log train MAY make a comeback in the near future, though, not with Pacific National, they wouldn't touch broad gauge freight with a 50ft pole. A quick guess would be SSR.

I did read somewhere a while ago that purpose built VLocities would be built with first class and the snack bar. Maybe with a permanent 5 carriage configuration.

Channel 9 can be fixed by getting rid of that biased pick Tony Jones who said the AFL grand final would be a "waste" because West Coast booked a spot.

Apparently there is an N class + SSH set stabled at Bairnsdale presently. Due to the current shutdown, it will be stuck down there until the middle of the next month. Re: Victorian Rail & Tram Observations 2018

According to Railpage, Stratford station's platform is being extended to cater for the length of a 6 carriage V/Locity. So it appears the replacement of the N class and N & Z carriages will happen far sooner than 2030. Replaced with what? It's not like PN/CFCLA or whoever else is just going to star...

Re: Victorian Rail & Tram Observations 2018

Aren't the N Class locomotives and carriages 5 or 6 years past their use by date anyway.. Time they got replaced, but not with V/Locities.

Also, CFCLA unit VL360 has been converted to broad gauge for the Maryvale run, most likely to be permanently paired with sister unit VL356.
