Re: Older BCC Buses

The front of no 10 was one really ugly bus. Sorta reminds me of that Bustech built demo that's about to be released (# 1598). It too has a front on it that looks like a half sucked melon. But nice to see the older buses being displayed. Displaying specifications for Leyland Panther PSUR1-1 [Denning...

Re: Sunliner Express

The Scania, whilst not my favourite coach... were good to drive and extremely good on fuel... comfortable for the pax as well. Sunliner was a very well run company with good equipment and good staff, it was a sad day when they closed. And for what its worth... I actually like the Neoplan look!!! :D...

Re: Tambourine Mtn bus crash

Yes, that is signed for no access for trucks, buses and caravans. Around 89,90 from memory (correct me if I'm wrong those that remember) I think it was not long after the Clybucca incident. A MCA coach was carrying elderly tourists on a day out when the similar event occured on the same stretch of r...

It came up well looks really good. A fresh paint job makes a big difference to a vehicle. They'll get another 15 out of that. It was a good bus to drive.

They may have moved it on, someone on this board posted 29 being there a while back too. I know about 5 or 6 buses have been sold to them from Logan over the time.

Re: Koala Koaches

Yeah they have had these for a while since the begining of the year along with ex 29 CBS being the 4th bus they purchased from them. Probabally end up getting some more as more of the remaining Hinos from Clarks get withdrawn. They come up alright with a good detail too.

Thats because they went bust leaving sub contractors and employees chasing thousands out of them and trading while insolvent. Ruttly went bust thanks to Tool as usual.

You would be better bringing one in from the states and having the conversion work done. I know of one that has been done and it looks fantastic. I guess it depends how much do you want to spend, but to buy one here will be big bucks.

Re: Logan City Bus Service - high-floors

The remaining Hinos still in service are 15,16,17,18,23,24,26,27 and 32. It may be a while before anymore are pulled off the road as their still waiting for 22,25,29,30,31 and 40 to be replaced by VSTs from TL. But unit 23 is the oldest and next year will be 20 years so she may go next to go.

Re: Logan City Bus Service - high-floors

Charter work ceased in 1997 hence the earlier air conditioned coaches (MCA, Dominos etc) were all sold and the four air conditioned star liners were bought as replacement vehicles for the City services. Yes Greenline did have a lot of charter work and tour work aswell but they also did have quite a ...

Just run people over :!: So many people block buses and attempt to damage them these days... no repect deserves no repect in return... make the law to let drivers run them over  Thats never going to happen now is it. If you let that go on everyone will be running everyone over. The problem is...

It looks very good, different and it stands out. I think they have done a good job with its new makeover, It looks like it has a roll out awning on the near side aswell which is good. All it needs is a set of Alcoas on her that would finish it off. Job well done.

Spoken like true people who either don't have a job and/or don't work in the industry. Maladjusted is (like always) the only person who has actually posted a response that makes sense. There are many reasons why drivers should be trained up on it. New WHS laws should tell TL/BT to run the drivers t...
