Re: Admet 2024 timetable changes what can we expect
With the additional T840 services it will be interesting how well these services are used. Just hoping the other hills towns won’t be overlooked in potentially improved services rather than just for this route. I did wonder if they could make the T840 services every 30 minutes and every second T840 ...

Saw Iveco Bus 1376 back on the road tonight. Haven’t seen it out for a long time. Does anyone know if 1374 will be back or is that withdrawn?

Re: 2023 SA Transport observations
Random query here but can anyone confirm if 1385 is still in service? I know it’s getting close to the 25 years as are 1301-1306 excluding 1303 & 1305 who are already withdrawn. Just have not seen 1385 for ages now. Also in a recent discussion someone said to me that they had seen two withdrawn ...

Re: July 2023 AdMet timetable changes
I am somewhat surprised the 206 was boosted to Go Zone instead of the 528 - from memory the New Network had the 528 as a high frequency route. I wonder whether peak hour patronage justifies all these buses running to essentially the same place? My memory of the proposed New Network had the 528 runn...

Re: [Jan-Jun 2023] SA Transport observations
Rode on 1968 today, had the new validator installed along with an extra section of protective screen for the driver but the coin tray had been removed. I had 1969 today and that also had a new protective screen and new validator installed. Was on 1950 the other day and it also had both. Getting the...

Re: Buses out of service for long periods
Just wondering if anyone knows if 2823 back on road yet. Haven’t seen it in person or on the app for some time now.
Also do we know if 270, 272, 274, 276 and 2823 will be returned to original depots now the Gawler trains are running?

Re: Buses out of service for long periods
With Gawler rail services back running now there’s obviously been a large portion of the NL 202s retired with only around 8 TT NLs left and a few for Busways too. However I was a bit surprised when someone told me recently that the NL 202 CNG buses were being withdrawn. I knew 752 was retired but lo...

Re: Gawler Rail Line shutdown
Great news for the people of the north who have been waiting so long!
Will be interesting to see just how many retirements of NLs will take place if not all of them. Also wonder what will happen with Kangas KRail fleet whether they will be used again for any future Rail subs?

Re: [Apr-Jun 2022] SA Transport observations
There was 60-70 min delays on some City bound O-Bahn services yesterday morning. 1106 broke down on a 546X not too far out from TTP and several buses were stuck on that section of track behind it. Not sure of the exact issue but they managed to eventually get the bus to Paradise where a replacement ...

Re: Modified Bus timetables from Monday 31st January
While there are still 3,000 cases a day of Covid and with the Covid rules as they stand, I think it would be difficult to get those services back on the road. Let's see what the new Government does, especially when it comes to the "close contact" rule to see if any changes can be made. Thi...

Re: Modified Bus timetables from Monday 31st January

Re: Modified Bus timetables from Monday 31st January
With pretty much everyone back at school on Monday 14 February are we going back to normal school term timetables? These modified timetables aren’t going to work too well with half the cut out services being when students are travelling to/from school.

Re: Modified Bus timetables from Monday 31st January
209F Service has a gap from 7:20pm dep TTP and the next bus is 8:18am from Baldock Road so for anyone prior to 47 Baldock Road it’s a 75 min gap. They probably should have kept the 7:48am from TTP and scrapped the 8:18am from Baldock Road. Not very helpful

Re: [Sept-Dec 2021] SA transport observations
According to Fleet Lists R1333 and R1334 have been retired. Has this occurred now and if so are there any other retirements about to happen? Made me wonder given the extra delay of the Gawler train line whether a lot of these R buses will stick around until it’s reopened.

Re: Rail Public Transport Options for Mount Barker and the Adelaide Hills
Thanks for posting. Quite an interesting read. I’ve always thought it’s a no brainer to spend the money and get the Metro Railway line extended to Mt Barker. It will surely get some cars off the road and connections with local Mt Barker bus services can be made. It’s a hugely growing area and to onl...
