Re: Where did Perth's trolleybuses go?
Thanks for the link to the TrolleyWire issue; I didn't realise they were available online. I haven't worked through the information contained in that issue, but you'll find details & photos of Perth's trolleybuses here: https://perthbus.info/index.php?page=15#770.0

I can't help with any more similar Morrises, but here's a very similarly-bodied Austin but with a shorter wheelbase; owner & location unknown; photo from c2007: 49e7wbwity0w85001.jpg Here's another with a longer wheelbase: 498qyxyglzcww5001.jpg Both would appear to have been bodied by Motor Body Bu...

Renault PR100.2 instruments are by Jaeger. If your's is ex-Transperth, it may never have had a working fuel gauge.

This seems to be a good point to emphasize that the MTT / Transperth & now the PTA have always been very supportive of the bus preservation movement in Perth.

Re: information please
Thanks for posting the photos. Whilst Daimler Freelines were rare in Australia, they were plentiful in Auckland. Perth had 31 of them and two are with the Bus Preservation Society at Whiteman Park. One of the sisters to yours was in preservation in the 1980s but was then sold for more use as a bus....

I've been hoping one of these would turn up! One of my childhood favourites. Here's what she looked like when new - with the wood-framed body built by the Scarborough Bus Service's subsidiary Motor Body Builders: image.php?image=4991w34m6jack5001.jpg And here she is as rebodied by Bolton: image.php...

Re: Howard Porter Volvo Coach.
And are there photos of the 3 Volvo coaches in any of their liveries? The only Volvo B58 / Howard Porter I have listed for AAC was TC216, originally regd AAC005 - I assume that's the same coach as in the photo you posted. The only additional photo I can offer is this one by C W Davison of ex-TC213 ...

Re: Howard Porter Volvo Coach.
Does anyone have any production history for the Howard Porter bus builders? Howard Porter motor body builders was established in William St Fremantle in 1936. They later moved to O`Connor (east of Fremantle for non-locals) & are currently located in Bibra Lake. Nowadays their main business appears ...

Vale Dennis96 - Nicholas Pusenjak
It is with much sorrow that I share this devastating news: long-term Board member Nicholas Pusenjak , who posted under the nom du plume Dennis96 , passed away suddenly whilst swimming at Rottnest Island yesterday afternoon. Nick was a founding member of what is now the Bus Preservation Society of W...

Re: Perth Causeway citybound exit for buses
Very strange (and confusing) to see reference to the south end of the Causeway; it has always been West End Causeway & East End Causeway. At neither end do buses get any form of priority. If you are running-on or -off, it is quicker to use the non-bus lanes. If you are travelling East, the timing o...
