Re: What makes you happy today?

Those are some good pictures that capture this amazing woman. Knowing her humble background makes her all the more powerful to me.
She is a superstar.

Re: What makes you happy today?

I'm glad he didn't succumb to his heart attack. Sorry to say, but his latest wife is not a patch on Stevie when it comes to striking looks that imprint in your mind. Not bad looking but kind of generic. His latest partner, however looks good as middle age is upon her in that later photo. Lindsay is ...

Re: What makes you happy today?

Stevie is a nice woman's name. She's certainly intense to look at and in her performances in the band. A face you don't forget.
I had no idea they dated!

Re: What makes you happy today?

Good song Big Engine Mechanic. I can't help associating it with the NSW tourism campaign which used that song in their ad in the 1990s. Those Fleetwood Mac covers do look great, particularly the second one. I like how the genius behind the band Lindsay Buckingham is standing quietly in the backgroun...

I have indeed seen that taillight cluster with the Coachmaster lookalike front. I'd say the round style was a mark II version.

I never imagined I'd one day look back on the year 2000 a a blast from the past. I remember despairing how boring it was becoming in 1991!! Now when I see Sydney in 1991 on youtube, it looks positively vintage now. It might as well be 1977!

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Typical young people have given me the s##ts ever since high school and continue to with their shallow carbon copy personalities you see and hear everywhere. Their constant swearing when they talk and same ole same ole laughter for no good reason. I have come up with the perfect acronym for typical ...

Re: New bus network arising from CSELR (L2/L3) opening

I wonder how many of those 20,000 signatures regularly use buses, if it all? Exactly, its the same as the rent-a-crowd mob, who will turn up to any protest. There are people who will sign any petition because it is anti-government, doesn't mean they actually believe in the cause. And that's why MPs...

Re: Private Bus Observations 2020

They STILL refuse to get people to enter via the back door because of this imagined danger. Haven't they heard of drivers around the world catching the covid on the job? Usual insulated managers think they know best (they never will) and don't have to be exposed like the drivers. They STILL insist p...

It's a start Big Engine Mechanic. :D Man that colour looks good. Looks beautiful. Wouldn't know it has a high odometer reading. Many well off men drive well kept older cars. This is a status symbol, especially being so rare now. Differences I've noticed with 1993 -94 NCs over the earlier NCs like mi...

Re: What makes you happy today?

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

I hate hot weather with a dash of humidity thrown in Sydney summer style and hate people who like it almost as much!!

How modern stand up comedy audiences laugh uproariously simply because a swear word is mentioned and only chuckle lightly when actual wit is used. It's weak .

Re: CBD & South East Light Rail

I just don't get this pathological hatred of tall buildings. If they're in an appropriate location, such as shopping centres around major transport nodes, then I can see nothing wrong with them. It's not as though they're building them on every residential street corner. No need to quote full previ...

Really? I threw it in the trash after getting any useful nuts and bolts off it. The motor is faulty as it makes a humming noise without spinning and that was after I checked for obstructions.

I'll take the hoist every time -as long as there's an appropriate place to set up.
Here's a pic I took of my tool spread dismantling an electric garden shredder I found.

That means they plainly view them as "use only if you have to" buses they begrudgingly have in the fleet.

Re: Does this make my car a bus?

I think those tool cabinets are a waste of money. As long as I know where all my tools are kept, I'm ok. There's a mechanic Scotty Kilmer who has a you tube channel in Texas who works from home and his garage is a shambles and he claims he knows where any tool is kept and doesn't need to be orderly ...
