There may be no requirement to retain a bus in service for that long but in greace monkey talk it is well known that decent lasts at least 25 years and anything beyond that is good.

Re: Bustech CDI 1790

I rode to the city on 3401a couple of days ago departing the Parkside Hotel at about 3.40pm and a bunch of school got on at the same time, with one commenting that they were traveling on a "Boris Bus" - I was amazed that a young girl would have heard of the NBFL (Borismaster). I don't kno...

I don't like what's happening to this country either, I remember a time where I use to see society happy with glow...

The blatant favoritism toward leftists on that farce of a programme by that filth ridden left wing outfit the ABC (who make me sick) Q&A. Anyone defending Trump in tonight's episode is given far less opportunity to speak than anyone pushing the left wing liar's narrative. AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS...

Re: [Sept/Oct 2020] SA transport observations

What advantage would having a manual bus have? (I'm assuming diesel or old wouldn't be a desirable criteria). Manual vehicles allow you to have full control over the engine, applying the brakes should really be done with in the last 5km when stopping. When you apply the brakes the engine doesn't ac...

No it wasn't that bus run, it was a standard Adelaide metro run,
Marion Centre Interchange to Colonnades Centre Interchange, what number that was in 2007 I can't remember.

Manual transmission discussion

It's likely that the allocation was done based on driver preference. Never been too sure on that but if that's happening that's good, all I know is members on here have told me you just get what ever bus you are given and yet a few years ago I used to know this bus driver that would always try and ...
