Re: Scania/Custom Deliveries

Hardly no longer suitable when it’s basically the same as every other L94/Volgren. It wasn’t listed in the contracts (neither was 3269, 3310, or 3311), and therefore was transferred So how come if 3310 and 3311 were not in the contract how come these are still in service according to fleet lists? Sorry, the link should be fixed now and hopefully you can open it. https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1WCWkLYgMTq5vE_Y5iEWl-0J7lOFFUS4F&usp=sharing That map is correct, it’s interesting that we have a similar loop again today. Yes, from what I’ve seen in depots and on road.
2558 being a typo for 2858 I assume

From what I've heard, it was seen on the 9:06AM inbound T840 today, as well as the 10:14 outbound service. I think it did another (T840(?)) round trip not long afterwards. It was also doing a service from D1 around 3ish, as it had passengers aboard, and then another one at around 4PM (more than lik...

Re: HISTORY of ADELAIDE - BUS, TRAIN & TRAM ROUTES

I think you would've seen the demise of Mr BPS in its current form had they;
A) continued the way they were going
B) hadn't been bought out by a larger operator
C) continued with cheap fares, whilst being being heavily subsidised by the government.

Don't forget once the extension to Flinders Medical Centre is complete, the service's will still be only every 30mins. Where did you hear that? Well said TT-this is so true-it is the same all across the Metro area. The original idea of the Transit Link or TL service's was to stop at certain stops and was between an 'F' service and an 'X' service.

Re: Consultation on new AdMet Network

It wouldn't be a great loss with the 'F' service's disappearing as they currently take 28mins to travel from Stop 13 to the City and the 861's take 30mins. During the inter-peak, the 'F' service's take 22mins vs 23mins for 861's.

Having read the attachments to the tender document for the Hills contract, I have to say, if the proposed changes do happen, they're not going to be popular. I.e. to & from My Barker the 840X which is fine, BUT to have the 864 run as an all stopping service through out the day? That's going to be as...

Fair enough. Once the new service's get up & running, I see the Route 864 will be even more important to get people to & from the hospital.
