Especially 2126 when I just saw it on 39, meaning it's probably at Redcliffe.

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024

Saw a Ex-Busselton/Bunbury Volgren CR222L Bodied O405NH sitting at the front of the Canning Vale Depot. (Don't know exactly which one but it's got a distinctive front). I can't imagine it'll be put into service here though considering it doesn't have a rear door. (Unless one was added later on in i...

And 2125 was earlier seen on 38 at CWBS eastbound.

Re: Bus Routes - What would you do if you were in charge?

Don't think 23 actually runs on Sunday. That being said, it can be replaced with trip deviations on 995.

995 itself can be merged with 950 northern leg.

950 southern leg can merge with 970, providing direct links between Charles and William Streets.

The 507 has been a 15 minute service for a number of years.
I think it's only for school days. Weekends it's 30 minutes all day, and hourly after 1930.

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024

Ellenbrook Line feeders fall within Morley and Midland contract areas. Given Swan Transit already has taken Joondalup and Kalgoorlie packages, it seems likely they might have to sit out of Midland.

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024

Maybe it's due to the gas buses from WP being moved to SR. How? It sounds like PATH have gained far more buses than they've lost. I suspect the contracts for Morley, Midland and Kalamunda packages could be put out to tender soon. Very likely Ellenbrook Line feeders could be operated by Path sometim...

1400-29 are listed as both WP and SR buses. AFAIK, only 1407-8 are still at WP. The rest are now at SR.

Also, does Jandakot have a permanent fleet or is it a branch of SR?

So Bayswater only has 2000-12 left? Looks like CNG is getting phased out there soon.

Also, 1408 still on 935, meaning it hasn't moved to SR yet.

Re: PTA / Transperth Service Changes 2024

Purple CAT seems to be doing well despite heavily duplicating 24 and 103 because who in the right mind would wanna pay for a ticket to travel between PCH and EQBS? I'm not surprised it's cannibalised some of the load from 950 southern leg too. That being said, I'd prefer either the Purple CAT or 103...

I spotted 1888 on Route 38 recently, so it most likely is based at WPDEP now.

Or Jandakot since it appears to be a branch of SR. 2889 is listed as SR but I've been on it and the driver said he's from Jandakot.

Re: WA Bus Observations 2024

Thing is Jandakot appears to be a branch of SRDEP. I'd say the diesel buses are for Jandakot while the ex-WPDEP gassies are for SR. Beckenham meanwhile is getting all the newly registered B8s to make up for the B7s transferred to WP.
