Those problems would have been solve with the introduction of headway managed routes under the proposed new network earlier in the year

Is there a "culture" in Melbourne where private operators have multiple depots of each depot having their own set of routes, even though other routes may pass close by or share termini?

I'm sure they, and all the Adelaide Metro operators, know exactly how many buses they need and take off road vehicles and retirements into account

Those buses are not all at Port Depot, and 275 is an 18.280

You have overlooked 2 important facts-firstly they have to walk from the Flinders Medical Centre several hundred meters to the new station,they then have to wait for their train, which will only run at 30 minute frequencies. A G22X from Stop 27 Main South Rd at 8:02 in the current timetable takes 37 minutes to reach Stop W2 in King William St.

Even if you add a 10 minute walk and transfer in, a passenger will reach North Tce before they would on the bus if they take the train.

This new journey will take them up to 30 minutes longer-so much for Mr Knolls-faster, direct services. You keep saying this, but I can't work that out from the information released? Where are the timetables you are using to support this? Surely the train has to be quicker than sitting in the Goodwo...
