Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Amazon at the moment It is displaying a promotional offer for me where I can get $10 off an item as a prime member if I redeem a code online & make a purchase through the mobile application or something. I've just wasted 10 minutes of my life only to find out the item I want to purchase won't accept...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Well myself I'd take the sound of a Scania indicator over the microwave beeps the Chinese buses use. Iveco uses a buzzer sound that I can imagine would be right up there with the annoyance level of the microwave beep. I haven't been on many modern low floor Mercedes & MAN's but I know the OH1830L's ...

Re: Private Bus Observations 2020

I Saw one of Newcastle Transport new B8RLE's that looked to be on a delivery run going past Hexham this afternoon just after 3PM, Fleet NO 2826 with no registration plate on the front.

Looks like there's some dark blue wrap at the front on the bus as the NT logo looked very dark.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Maybe the cover photo / profile photo but I'd say that's about it. It is probably time I look at changing things up with a new picture but nothing in my collection of mass transport photos really stands out. I was thinking of maybe showing an artist a few of my photos and seeing what they can come u...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

* sigh * I'm rightfully getting fed up of people that keep mistaking my Facebook page for a Transport operator or TNSW despite clearly having not only a pinned post but also mentioned in my BIO I'm not bus company, transport operator and I'm just an Enthusiast (private page). The amount of people I ...

Re: Private Bus Observations 2020

Interesting to still see 2741 ST is still registered despite being written off a couple of months back in heavy flooding. Checking RMS's regocheck still shows the registration as active but of course I haven't seen it out. Curious as to why the registration is still active on this withdrawn vehicle?

Your personally owned Bus parts / Equipment

I was curious if any other forum members actually own any bus parts and or equipment from buses, these could range from bus plaques and badges to destination blinds & controllers to full on seats or dasboards. Currently the only real bus part I have in my collection is my Mobitec ICU400 Controller (...

Re: CDC NSW Fleet Updates

4697 MO is back from the dead, that's right one of the rare Csepel 844.31 CB60's is back in service for possibly another year. Just spotted it on the New England highway near Maitland finishing a school run up. Same story with 4692 MO which is a Csepel 844.19, also appears to be back in service acco...

Re: Busways Timetable -Did They Run PR 100s Too?

Fleet-lists would be correct that it's the standard cover used for timetabling regardless of operator as I have previously seen CDC ones and they used the same cover. I can't imagine operators especially smaller ones going to the trouble of trying to come up with different vector images of a bus in ...

Re: Private Bus Observations 2020

Another one was showing up as a PMC160 I'm sure, you have to love the use of recycling or incorrectly configured tracking equipment. I Still remember ages ago when one B8RLE (could've been BCI?) was showing up as an L113TRBL. Hence why I don't rely too much on tracking information accuracy anymore f...

In one of my latest videos, I'll be taking a ride on one of CDC NSW's Scania K270IB's fitted with the Custom Coaches SB400 bodywork during a previous train replacement.

Video is in 4K for your further entertainment.

Having to get rid of these buggers, nasty & hurt to touch! (wasn't touching them on purpose but it was as I was trying to remove them). These are the ground thistle weeds that have the sharp little spikes on their leaves. https://thehorse.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/canada-thistle-web.jpg You get...

Re: Powering Mobitec ICU400

hopefully I'm reading this correctly, if not I apologise, sadly I won't be parting with my controller for the foreseeable future as it's a special item of mine (and wasn't easy to obtain). I'm still yet to power it up (not even an inch closer in terms of progress from when I created this thread). Th...

Re: CDC: The Edgeworth Graveyard

In the last photo (one with the CL Isuzu) I can't recall what the fleet number is for the PMC bus nor the one next to it but the bus to the right of the CL bus should be former 7825 MO, use to operate a Grammar school run full time up until withdrawal, it's replacement was a MAN 12.220 CB30 for a bi...

Re: Cooma Coaches 8818 MO

That explains the fleet listing for former 7829 MO being "transferred", I couldn't understand what was meant by transferred as I didn't know PSC / one of people at the top of the chain had a share in Cooma coaches, so today I learned something! Didn't see it at all through, probably sitting back at ...

Cooma Coaches 8818 MO

First of all, sorry about the image quality, my camera doesn't take nice pictures in low lighting levels (increasing ISO & resizing the image doesn't do much favors either) Anyway here is a brand new MAN 19.320 HOCL-NL with Volgren Optimus bodywork from Cooma Coaches, a very long way from home. This...

Re: CDC: The Edgeworth Graveyard

Yeah just seem them as withdrawn on the fleet-list, end of an era for them. I actually saw the last CB60 Csepel last week heading back from Maitland towards the Thornton yard I assume. and 4692 was parked facing the front of the depot the other week with it's registration still fitted to it. Had a f...

Looking at the fleet-list shows that some ex Hillsbus stationlinks from m/o 6910 to m/o 6914 have been withdrawn and transferred to Transit Systems Tempe, wonder what the reason is for their withdrawal and transfer?

Re: What makes you happy today?

I've been on a few B8RLE's (only Bustech bodied as that's all that's around here sigh) and I have to say I prefer the B7RLE's sounds over the B8RLE's. Mercedes OH1830 VS O405NH, I know their a generation apart and completely different but if you asked me which sound I like, I'd go with the O405's an...

Re: What makes you happy today?

Really lives up to my expectations, the K270IB chassis really sounds like a beefed up K230(IB/UB) when it gets up to speed. The interior of the HVB SB400's is different to the likes of Transdevs K94IB's on the same body (obviously). The stop buttons are the usual plastic buttons with yellow shell bu...
