Although they haven't manufactured that model since 2011, they probably have stocks of spare panels to cover such events. maybe but maybe the evo 2 front as the original spec CB60 was updated to the evo 2 spec in 2007 would they have any series 1 CB60 fronts left in storage to refront Transit Syste...

Re: Bus Observations 2024.
It looks like there will be 2 withdrawn buses after this accident Withdrawn while repairs take place but not forever, lots of buses has been in accidents and come back to life. Wouldn't Custom Bus just tell Transit Systems and U-GO we can do a retrofit a Endeavour front to these buses as we haven't...

Re: Bus Observations 2024.
Transit Systems have 3 BCI electrics that are more rare now as they were when Interline had them. Interline didn't have those BCIs out a lot and when they did it was mainly m/o 6918. I hardly saw the blue and white ones which Interline had their DVAs and passenger display screens working as I caught...

Re: NSW Electric Bus Plan
The feds are talking about slapping the luxury car tax on hybrid vehicles so more people will buy EVs so Australia can get a gold star off the UN for doing what we are asked when it comes to combatting climate change so why would the state government want to start a fight with the federal government...

Re: Bus Observations 2024.
I've always wanted to know why the so-called 'shopper hopper' routes exist and when they were introduced - unlike with Metrobus, NightRide or T-Way routes there seems to be very limited information on their purpose. Robert Henderson's excellent website contains much history on these routes: https:/...

Re: Future of the board
I understand that and who will maintain everything now Time will tell as always in due course. It also depends if anyone has the resources and knowledge to maintain the backend of the board. I don't think Fleet-lists would want all he has done & created not only for himself but for us & the...

Re: NSW Bus Industry Taskforce announced

Another U-Go Mobility bus on fire. This time Scania K320UB CB80 (MO6690) from Kingsgrove on fire at Blakehurst. Was on 959. That's poor maintenance on U-GO's end if buses are cooking their engines to the point where the vehicle catches fire. I can understand 1 but you say another U-GO bus which say...

Bit tricky to write responses when the board is inaccessible! I see there were 6 posts at various times between Friday and today, so some members were getting through? At least it seems OK now. Thanks to whoever sorted it out. I was seeing a list of PHPBB errors at the top of board whenever I enter...
