Re: $90 million upgrade for Stirling bus bridge
Morley, OATS STREET, Southlands, Murdoch Park'n'Ride and Stirling are all relief points on the Circle. tonyp: Regarding Fremantle Station, it's the start point for the circle. Only Transdev have trips that start and finish there (so they show as one complete trip on the driver's running journal). S...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
2033 is back in service after the crash. Don't tell me it's got the front end from 109 grafted on? Volgren has spares for these sorts of thing all panels are removable and interchangeable normally the bus will repaired, inspected and returned to service unless there is significant major structural ...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
I thought the Jeep got stuck at the same spot where 1593 was written off. Anyway, removing all level crossings south of Beckenham should be carried out if we ever upgrade the Australind service to HSR. A high speed Bunbury train wouldn’t run via Armadale that’s what the Forrest highway and the exis...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
Armadale Line Services were suspended from first service until early afternoon, due to another Code 8 at Kelvin Road Level Crossing. Not sure of the car numbers involved. Missed out on doing Rail Replacement too, as my phone was on silent due to a family issue overnight. It was sets 01/46 set 01 ha...

Re: $90 million upgrade for Stirling bus bridge
As an out of stater I'd like more justification as to why $90 million is needed to change the workload from 4 buses per hour on each stand to 2.2 per hour. It sounds more like there is excessive layover time due to poor rostering. To basically increase capacity as well to improve bus and passenger ...

Re: $90 million upgrade for Stirling bus bridge
That station is quite a mess in peak on the few occasions I've been unfortunate enough to pay it a visit. What little layover they have is probably in use for meal breaks, and anyone that cannot immediately proceed to stand must loop around Cedric St., a very slow process given the buses don't have...

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
School specials 790 and 791. One departs Perth Busport for Trinity College at 8:05am, the other at 8:10am. 790 is usually a Beckenham run, not sure about 791 but at a guess I'd say that is too. It varies I’ve seen a lot of SR buses on the Trinity run usually it’s done by the Perth bound 220 from Ar...

I wonder which contract will 233 fall under. Canning or SR? probably SR given this route is 2xx not 5xx. Although i could be wrong. For the shift allocation i probably think it will Mix between CV/Beckenham/SR and maybe First shift to Gosnells will use CV. First shift to Cockburn will use SR bus an...

Re: PTA / Transperth Service Changes - 2020
The change to create a 148 via Melville SHS is an interesting step, particularly given there is no mention of the existing extended 500 service being deleted. It presently connects with the 766 School Special (or is at least supposed to). Prior to the changes that saw the 766 truncated to Booragoon...
