Re: Transperth Service Changes - 2017
Always thought Leederville was the wrong place for it anway when Glendalough would have better onward connections, and would create a new north-south route (and better coverage of Wembley) rather than duplicating the already frequent Cambridge st services?

(Sorry for the bad quality, I only have this one on paper) Shoudy, could perhaps be the old 490 (before Clarkson station opened) that came down Wanneroo Rd and Joondalup Drive to Joondalup Station?

Re: Transperth service changes
Isn't 300 funded by the shopping centre, could that be causing problems for running it to the hospital?
15 minute frequency would make some sense at least off peak simply for worthwhile connections with trains, rather than one good, one bad and one really ugly every hour.

Also the front cover has been redesigned to be closer to regular bus timetables.

Re: Transperth service changes
I seriously doubt they bother to time bus services to coincide with the trains these days My impresstion has been actually that they still do hence the widespread bus re-timings during July 2015 (south-eastern) and September-2014 (northern). And the few timetables I have been bothered to check ( in...

Re: Transperth service changes
I wouldnt think it would be worth renumbering the 288 to 289 if the 930 was to be numbered in that area, given that the 286 and 287 only run for a few hours on weekdays only. May as well just keep the current numbers and add the new route on at the end. The 38 may not coordinate that well with the 2...

Re: Transperth service changes
Put your collective heads together....what other 900s could we possibly anticipate? Perhaps get some more cross suburban going with an upgraded 501 and 100? (100 would remain linked to 101 ideally - maybe 901 and 101?) Could a Fremantle to Cockburn Central route work? Thinking either on the current...

Re: Transperth service changes
Good to see that Baldivis at least gets some form of night time service. They should also increase the 231/232 to every 15 minutes. Honestly cant see this happening any time soon, 30 minutes is already at the higher end for suburban feeders in Perth and funding for additional kilometres is supposedl...

Re: Transperth service changes
For the timetables I imagine the big test will be when the 930 is published (in a month or so?), which is not high-frequency and does fit cleanly into the eastern region - if this makes it in the 200s for the timetables then 920/940 definitely should imo, and may as well add the 955 and 956 for comp...

Think you're comparing the wrong sides? 0007F is now 0008F, 2344 is the last T (currently 2342T)
IMO the 9X0 number makes perfect sense now
I must say there have been some good upgrades recently even with the supposed cuts to service kilometre growth

Re: Transperth service changes
IMO a route with an hourly daytime service doesn't deserve a trip at 10:40pm on Sunday night but I guess it depends on the patronage. It seems reasonable to me - 40 itself may be hourly but thought of as a combination of 20-minute Great Eastern Highway and the three services an hour to the airport ...
