Two new things this week!
Cathay Pacific are adding a second daily a350-900 flight to Sydney, replacing the Boeing 777 that previously operated this run. Still 4 daily flights

And another foreign airline is beginning flights from Avalon Airport. This time from Bali
Airline: Citilink
It’s actually beginning very soon, first flight begins January 24!

Lots of flights have been cancelled from China (mainland) to Australia due to the coronavirus outbreak. One noticeably rather big news that popped up yesterday is Virgin Australia axing flights for good from Hong Kong from March 2, 2020, ending shortly after Melbourne is from next Monday (11th February, 2020). I'm not surprised, to be honest, I could see it coming with all the protests that have happened and now, THIS!

I reckon we might see further service reductions if the coronavirus continues to spread. Airline after airline have reduced their services from the majority of Australian airports (Melbourne, Sydney etc). I hope not, but if it continues it's definitely going to impact Australian tourism and some businesses will not like to hear such news
