Captain, go into the User Control Panel just underneath the Bus Australia banner, then go into the Board Preferences and enable the "Summer Time/DST is in effect" option, and Submit.

NSW media is now toying with the idea of abolishing the bi-annual time change. Is a permanent 1 hour ahead offset the answer for all Eastern States and Territories in Australia? Hawaii, Singapore & Malaysia all have +1 offsets. #DaylightSaving #Australia https://t.co/CDHblOtIK9

I'm so happy to see the health effects of the twice a year time change being recognised, and a bloc as influential as the EU mandate an end to it.

Daylight saving was useful in the first half of the 20th century, but the reasons for it have pretty much gone away. Hopefully the EU decision will trigger/allow sensible debate about it in this country.
