They would get stolen as well, when I had cabs I used to attach them to a chain.

Times have certainly changed from the interior shots, with all those bloody ashtrays, yuk remember the days when you would have to clean them out.
Note the one by the drivers seat. Imagine the smile on the faces of the Transport Inspectors today if they saw that.
